笳 Zippier Zip is a free patcher that allows you to modify the original Iomega Driver 4.3 and Iomega Guest 1.1 software for the Macintosh, which ships with all Zip drives.□
笳 The patched Iomega Driver no longer complains when you start up with your Zip drive turned off, and more generally when no Iomega drive is found at startup. The driver is still not loaded, but you won窶冲 get the annoying error message at the end of the startup process.
笳 The patched Iomega Guest application no longer displays a message when the driver is successfully loaded, so you don窶冲 have to click OK or type Enter every time you load the driver after startup.

笳 These patches are unsupported by Iomega or myself. I uploaded them as a service to all Zip users, but you窶决e on your own if you decide to use them.
笳 The Iomega Driver and Iomega Guest files are replaced by the patched versions. The original copies of the software are moved to the Trash and the 窶廾ld窶 prefix is added to their names.
笳 The upper version string in the Finder窶冱 Get Info window says 窶彁ippier Iomega Software 4.3窶 instead of 窶廬omega Software 4.3窶 for files that have been patched.
